CueBot PTZ Privacy Policy

CueBot PTZ is an independent iPhone and iPad application designed for local camera-control and live-production workflows. The app does not require a CueBot user account and Murby Productions Pty Ltd does not sell personal information.

Information stored by the app

CueBot PTZ may store information locally on your device so the app can remember and operate your production. This may include camera names and local IP addresses, camera order, presets, Scenes and camera actions, Show Profiles, external-control mappings, preview preferences, app settings, backup metadata and entitlement state.

This information is used to provide the features you configure and to restore the active Show between sessions.

Local network and connected devices

CueBot PTZ may request Local Network and Bluetooth-related access so it can discover, communicate with and control compatible cameras and connected control devices. Network communication may include camera-control commands, camera status, preview routing, QLab OSC, MIDI and remote-control verification.

Local camera addresses and device names may appear inside the app, exported backups or diagnostic traces because they are necessary to identify the configured production system.

Camera preview data

CueBot PTZ may display supported camera preview feeds for monitoring, framing and live operation. Preview traffic is handled as part of the local camera and network workflow. CueBot PTZ does not sell camera preview data.

Availability and behaviour may depend on third-party camera, NDI® and network technologies.

Show backups and exported files

When you create, export or share a Show backup, the file may contain the production configuration needed to restore that Show, including camera details, presets, Scenes and mappings. You control where exported backup files are stored or sent.

Backups should be treated as production files and shared only with people or services you trust.

Support Traces and diagnostics

CueBot PTZ can generate diagnostic or support information to help investigate technical issues. A Support Trace may include app build information, device and operating-system context, recent camera or preview events, Scene execution information, external-control status, camera names, Show labels and local network addresses.

Support information is not automatically emailed to us merely because it is generated. You choose whether to copy, export or send it. Review diagnostic content before sharing it with support.

Beta applications, support and email

If you apply for beta access, contact support or subscribe to product updates, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, country or region, device and camera setup, intended use, screenshots, videos, diagnostic traces and the content of your message.

We use this information to manage TestFlight access, respond to support requests, improve CueBot PTZ and communicate relevant product or launch information. You may unsubscribe from optional marketing updates at any time.

Website analytics and tracking technologies

The CueBot PTZ website may use analytics and advertising technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to measure website visits, referrals, page interactions and beta interest. These technologies may process browser or device information, IP-derived location, pages visited and button events according to the provider's own terms and privacy practices.

We do not intentionally send camera profiles, Show files, local-network camera details or Support Trace content to website advertising pixels.

Data sharing

We do not sell user data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website, email, beta application, App Store, TestFlight, analytics or support workflows, or disclosed when required by law.

Third-party products that CueBot communicates with—including OBSBOT cameras, Apple services, NDI®, QLab, MIDI hardware or network services—are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention and deletion

App configuration stored locally can generally be removed by deleting the relevant Show, clearing app data where available or uninstalling the app. Exported files remain wherever you chose to save or share them.
