CueBot PTZ Support

Help for finding cameras, saving presets, checking preview and using CueBot PTZ during live camera workflows.

Getting started

CueBot PTZ is designed for OBSBOT Tail Air and Tail 2 users who want faster camera discovery, expanded presets and focused live camera control on iPhone and iPad.

To begin, connect your iPhone or iPad and OBSBOT camera to the same local network. Open Connect, run a scan to discover compatible cameras, then save the cameras you want to control.

Finding your camera

Make sure your camera and iPhone or iPad are on the same Wi-Fi or local network.

In Connect, use DISCOVERED to scan for compatible OBSBOT cameras on the network. Save only the cameras you want to control. Once saved, use SAVED to reconnect and verify those cameras before setup or live operation.

Using Add by IP

If discovery does not find your camera, use Add by IP to enter the camera manually. Enter the camera's local IP address and control port, then save it as a camera profile if the connection is correct.

NDI® preview

CueBot Pro supports NDI® preview where available, depending on your camera, network and NDI configuration.

For best results, use a strong local network, keep your iPhone or iPad close to the router or access point, and confirm that NDI® is enabled and available for your camera setup.

LIVE mode

LIVE mode is designed for live camera operation.

LIVE mode gives you fast access to preset recalls, active camera status, preview options and the controls needed during a live event.

Lite and Pro
